Had the opportunity this weekend to listen, LIVE, to 5 self-made millionaires. I was fortunate to be invited to the first live event in over year. Hard to believe it’s already been a year since the COVID pandemic practically shut everything down. I can’t put into words how unbelievable of an experience. I know folks that will pay top dollars for an event like this. All I had to do was drive a few hours from Miami to Sarasota, FL for the experience. Let me tell you, it was well worth it.
All five speakers brought a unique presentation about our business and more specifically our company, Primerica. No where else will you be able to receive the education on getting of out debt, properly protecting your income, save money for the future and have an opportunity to own your own business. Back to this weekend. The five speakers all had some common themes with their talks. One of these overlining themes was that they, all five of them, were nothing special or extraordinary. They all came from humble beginnings. Not one of them was born into wealth. All had to forge their own path to success. What they did posses was an undeniable desire to achieve financial success. They all hammered the point that all of us in the audience are capable of achieving similar or even greater success if only set our minds to such success. We need to start dreaming again, like we did as children, of what our lives can be. The only real obstacles are the one we are placing on ourselves.
A question was asked by one of the speakers that hit home? What is stopping me, and for that matter 95% of the working class, from doing all that we dream of? The answer is simple; MONEY! I think we can all agree that if we had more money, then we could do whatever we want, when we wanted to. Money is a tool. The more we have of if, the more we can utilize this tool to do/get the things we desire. However, more important than experiences, traveling, cars, houses, etc, Money provides the ultimate gift. TIME! We only have one shot in this ride called Life. Why not make it the best it can possibly be??
All five speakers utilized our great company as the vehicle to achieve their financial success. Yes, they presented key components, fundamentals, principles on the nuts and bolts on how to do things, and that was great. However, I my opinion, the greater more relevant message was that we have the same abilities within us to achieve those same successes or more. We need to have the internal belief and faith in ourselves that we actually can. Believe and you can achieve!
